Becky Henderson

Founder & General Manager

Becky Henderson is the General Manager for Halogen. Halogen TV is a new network dedicated to creating empowering entertainment about making the world a better place that launched in fall 2009 in 13 million digital cable homes across the U.S. An innovative and progressive thinker and planner, Becky has experience as on-air talent, short- and long-form producer, writer, and as a motivational and educational speaker. She is a member of American Women in Radio and Television (AWRT) and received Regional Emmy Award in an inspirational category in 2006. She lives in Charlotte, N.C., with her husband and two sons, with whom she shares a love of Disney World.

Christie Legg

Vice President of Network Operations

As VP of Network Operations for Halogen, Christie Legg oversees the team responsible for on-air architecture of the network as well as the creation of short form content and promotions. She also develops business and strategic relationships that extend and support the network brand. Her background includes work within the television, marketing and advertising industries. She holds a degree in Journalism from North Texas State University.

Kyle Young

Vice President of Business Operations

Kyle Young directs the day-to-day operations of the Halogen brand which includes oversight of activities related to affiliate sales, commercial sales, finance, legal, and human resources. In addition, he assists with new business development and strategic partnership development. Born in Boston, Mass., son of globetrotting parents, Kyle began traveling at an early age. He is fluent in both English and French and is conversant in various other languages, including Arabic. Previous to Halogen, Kyle helped launch and manage INI, a TV network available in the Pan-European region and Australia/New Zealand. He lives in Charlotte, N.C., with his wife and two children.

Marshall Nord

Vice President of Programming

Marshall Nord is the Vice President of Programming for Halogen TV. Previously he produced and directed a talk show for financial adviser Danny Fontana. Before moving to the east coast, he spent 12 years working in production in Los Angeles for DreamWorks Television, Universal Television and Warner Brothers, among others. He worked on such well-known series as “Spin City,” “Columbo” movies, “Delta” and feature films such as “The Specialist” with Sylvester Stallone, “Thank Heaven” with Jenny McCarthy and Matt Keesler, “The Rose Technique,” “Redemption of the Ghost” and “Reverence.” He received a B.A. in Theatre from the University of Houston and lives with his beautiful wife Shannon and amazing son Mattingly.

Kyle Chowning

Vice President of Marketing & Communications

Kyle Chowning is the former sales and marketing director for Relevant Media Group in Orlando, Fla. This Bend, Ore., transplant has a management degree from George Fox University, and has twice owned his own business in addition to working for two magazine publishers, which target the 18 to 34 demographic. He lives in Nashville, Tenn., with his wife and two children.
